A balcony is a blessing for those who stay in apartments. And you are lucky if you have a big enough one. That is the best place in your apartment. So it deserves to be kept that way. This doesn’t mean you just put a lounge chair and call it a day. Here are some ideas to revamp your balcony into a cozy sweet spot. 1. Greenify it The balcony is the only place where sunlight is plenty. So have a wide variety of plants potted and arranged. If you do not have enough place for the plants then hang them up on the wall by setting up a garden wall. You can hang a couple of pots from the balcony ceiling as well.
If you like the idea of sitting on the floor then throw in some thick floor cushions or place an L shaped dewan close towards the wall. Or else put some small stools made of bamboo or plastic or recycled ones.
Add a thick fluffy rug that fits the size of the balcony. This will give a warm feeling when you walk into your balcony. Make sure the balcony is covered during the rainy season so that it doesn’t damage your rug.
Place a compact cafe table and 2 chairs. You can enjoy your morning/evening coffee with a view and fresh air.
Search for some DIY wall painting ideas and give your balcony wall a bunch of colors. Use weather-resistant paints and materials for this.

Light up your balcony with decorative lights or fairy lights. If you are all in for lights then put battery-powered electric candles and lanterns and lamps all around. Hang them on the wall or from the ceiling. Subtle lights like warm yellow and warm whites are the best. You can do some nighttime reading under this.
Hang a hammock or bamboo swing chair. If you have kids at home they will surely love this. This gives a laid-back vibe. Lounge on that and maybe even doze off.
If you do not enough place for permanent furniture then opt for foldable furniture. Use it only when you need it. Rest of the time you can utilize the space for something else.
Recliners are not just indoors. Put a reclining chair and relax in the midst of fresh air and night sky.
